I'm Back, Now What?

As you may have noticed, we've had a bit of a rebrand around here.

In 2015 I started this blog with a friend of mine. Our intention was to have fun talking about fashion and playing around with photography. We were successful for awhile but, like everything in life, it sadly came to an end. I've let this space sit dormant since then, half because I wanted to finish college and be present for all the milestones that came with that, and half because I lost my inspiration. For as long as I can remember I have loved the internet and the idea of blogs. A space all your own in the digital world where you can freely express yourself is incredibly appealing. So after six years of trying to figure out life and needing a creative outlet, I've decided to give blogging another chance.

So what is The Lost Youths 2.0?

In short, The Lost Youths is a place were I hope to express myself. Be it through writing or art, my goal for this space is free and radical self expression.

The longer answer is I've been feeling incredibly lost these days. We're in the middle of a historic and horrific pandemic, global warming isn't slowing down, and the world feels enormously divided. That's a lot to deal with at any age, but navigating through this as a twenty four year old pseudo-adult has its own unique challenges. Getting through your twenties was already hard. Getting through your twenties as the entire world shifts under you is a lot harder. So I want to write about it. About becoming an adult, whatever that means, during a time when we all want to feel like children and escape.

To whoever reads this, if anyone reads this, I hope my musings will be interesting to you. I hope they help you feel a little less alone and maybe a little more curious about what others are going through. I can't promise that they will ever be perfect or revolutionary, but I do promise that they will always be authentic and from my heart.

So from one lost youth to another, I hope you stick around.
